Testing
At Tech Synergy Technology, we use advanced testers in the connector and terminal assembly process to verify the electrical and mechanical integrity of completed components before they move to the next stage of production. These test stations perform a range of critical functions, including continuity testing, short-circuit detection, high-voltage (hipot) testing, insulation resistance testing, air leakage testing, water leakage testing, and, in some cases, functional testing under simulated load conditions. Our testing process ensures that each terminal is properly inserted, electrically connected, and free from internal faults such as open circuits or unintended shorts.
We integrate our testers into automated systems, controlled via PLCs or industrial PCs, with test results logged for complete traceability and quality control. Depending on the connector’s complexity, our test fixtures may include spring-loaded probes or bed-of-nails setups to establish contact with all necessary terminals.
To maintain high production throughput, we utilize high-speed, multi-channel test systems that can evaluate multiple points simultaneously. Our systems include automated pass/fail classification, enabling immediate sorting and rejection of defective components, minimizing the risk of faulty parts reaching downstream processes.
